Mia Pearl is an indie duo based in Oxford made up of singer songstress Mia Eisenstadt and guitarist Matt Oultram. Mia and Matt create soulful acoustic music with 90s influences and artfully cross boundaries between folk, indie and rock. Mia Pearl are due to release their new EP, “Trouble in Paradise” in August including the popular song, “Trouble”. Mia Pearl’s songs are mainly about the toils of love, desire, and relationships, but they have a political edge behind their music. Mia Pearl’s recent song, “Refugee Soul”, aims to bring the reality of the torment of being a refugee home to the UK through sound.
